Country Name
Brazil or officially the Federal Republic of Brazil.
Location
Brazil is located on the continent of South America. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana (one of the French Overseas Territories and Territories) to the north;
Bordered by all the countries of South America except Ecuador and Chile and occupies 47% of the continent of South America.
Capital
The city of Brasilia is now the federal capital of Brazil.
The first is Rio de Janeiro where the city of Rio de Janeiro has remained the capital Of the State of Brazil for more than (125) years, before being changed to the City of Brasilia.
Reason for Naming the country
In the era of the Portuguese empires, it was known that the name was linked to a tree (Bau Brazil) in Arabic. Flag
The flag of Brazil was adopted on November 19, 1889 (which contains 21 stars).
The current flag was adopted on May 11, 1992 (which contains 27 stars).
The Brazilian flag is composed of a green background with a large yellow diamond in the middle.
On top is a blue circle with 27 small white five-pointed stars along with a white stripe that says "ORDEM E PROGRESSO" or “Order and Progress” in green.
The green color represents the House of Braganza of Pedro I, who was the first emperor of the nation.

Language
The official language of Brazil is Portuguese, Portuguese in Brazil is different from Portugal and other countries, as in English between Britain and the United States, Spanish is very widely spoken in Brazil and is an official language in some regions of Brazil and is recognized as a minority.
National languages. When Brazil was discovered there were more than a thousand languages spoken. Currently, some of these languages are extinct such as indigenous languages, including the languages of the two languages. Today there are 180 languages spoken in Brazil.
Religion
The major dominant religion in Brazil is Roman Catholics, with 64.63% of people claiming to practice the religion. Most of the states in Brazil are Catholic, with more than half of the population in 25 of the 27 states being Catholic.
Other Christian religions practiced in Brazil account for around 6.82% of the country Orthodox Christianity, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, more commonly referred to as Mormonism, The Assemblies of God, and Protestant Christianity.
Other minority religions practiced in Brazil include Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Bahá'í, and Judaism.
